  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer, then pour over the chopped chocolate.
  5. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  6. In another saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water; cook until it reaches a deep amber color.
  7. Remove from heat, then carefully whisk in the chocolate mixture.
  8. Add sea salt and mix well.
  9. Pour the chocolate mixture into the tart shell and let it set.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, sprinkle more sea salt on top before serving.
  • Ensure the tart is completely chilled before slicing for best results.
