A delicious casserole combining the flavors of French onion soup with chicken, orzo, and turkey bacon for a flavorful meal.

  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 5 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese, for topping
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions until caramelized.
  3. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in orzo, broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  5. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with crumbled turkey bacon and shredded cheese.
