A delightful and boozy twist on the traditional tiramisu featuring rich coconut rum for an indulgent dessert experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup coconut rum
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 12 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, coconut rum, and powdered sugar; mix well.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the cooled coffee and arrange half in a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger flavor, increase the amount of coconut rum.
  • Letting it sit overnight enhances the flavors.
