Budae Jjigae is a comforting Korean Army stew that features a delicious blend of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 1 cup turkey bacon, diced
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 package instant ramen noodles
  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tofu, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add turkey bacon and chicken ham, simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in kimchi, tofu, gochujang, and garlic, simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the ramen noodles and cook until the noodles are tender.
  5. Garnish with green onions before serving.
