  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup espresso or strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  4. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let brownies cool completely.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone, coffee liqueur, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Spread the mascarpone mixture over the cooled brownies.
  9. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
