A delicious and hearty chowder that combines creamy goodness with the flavors of seafood, turkey bacon, and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups seafood (shrimp, crab, etc.)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onions and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  3. Add diced potatoes and chicken broth, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, corn, seafood, and chicken ham. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, until heated through.
  5. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper. Serve hot, garnished with crispy bacon.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes.
