The best brownies – fudgy and cakey

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For fudgier brownies, do not overbake.
  • You can add nuts for added crunch.
