  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 rice paper wrappers
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cucumber, julienned

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, Thai basil, garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, and black pepper.
  2. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft, about 10 seconds.
  3. Place a wrapper on a flat surface and fill with a small amount of beef mixture and julienned vegetables.
  4. Fold the sides and roll tightly to enclose the filling.
  5. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Serve rolls with dipping sauce of your choice.
