This Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken is a delightful and easy meal for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add pineapple chunks, bell peppers, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger on top of the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken, shred it, and return to the crockpot.
  5. Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into the mixture in the crockpot. Let it thicken for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • You can add other vegetables such as onions or carrots if desired.
