A delicious and refreshing dessert made with strawberries and sago.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago pearls
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sago pearls under cold water.
  2. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add sago pearls and cook until translucent, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes.
  4. Strain and rinse the sago pearls under cold water.
  5. In a bowl, mix the cooked sago pearls with chopped strawberries, sugar, coconut milk, and vanilla extract.
  6. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added flavor, top with additional fresh strawberries before serving.
