  1. In a saucepan, heat blackberries over medium heat until they break down, about 5 minutes. Strain to remove seeds.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gradually add sugar and vanilla extract.
  3. In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in warm water.
