Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, and jalapeños over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil without stirring, cooking until it reaches a deep amber color.
  3. Remove from heat and carefully stir in vanilla, baking soda, and salt.

  6. Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
