  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add chicken thighs and toss to coat.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the sauce, stirring until thickened.
  6. Serve garnished with green onions and drizzle with sesame oil.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce overnight.
  • Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
