A delicious and juicy chicken dish stuffed with gouda cheese and mushrooms, perfect for family dinners.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup gouda cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and mushrooms until softened.
  3. In a bowl, combine the sautéed mushrooms with gouda cheese, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cut pockets into the chicken breasts and stuff them with the gouda and mushroom mixture.
  5. Place stuffed chicken breasts in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
