A delightful and comforting casserole that combines the rich flavors of French onion soup with tender chicken and orzo pasta.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 cup shredded cheese, such as Gruyère

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions until caramelized.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, orzo, caramelized onions, broth, garlic powder, and thyme.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
