- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract and mix well.
- Stir in the flour until just incorporated.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar.
- Add the remaining batter, then sprinkle the top with the remaining cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
