  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the beef and stir until well combined.
  4. Remove from heat, then stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  5. Roll out the pie crusts and cut into circles.
  6. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on one half of each circle.
  7. Fold the crust over and seal the edges with a fork.
  8. Place the pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
