Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.

  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  5. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  6. For the garlic aioli, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  7. To assemble, spread garlic aioli on each bun, add lettuce, the fried chicken, and tomato slices.
