  • 1 cup cornmeal

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper together.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs with buttermilk.
  4. Dip each fish piece into the wet mixture, then coat with the dry mixture.
  5. Fry the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing fish on a tortilla, then add cabbage and avocado crema.
